Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder.  It is coherence that transcends


context, a language of continuity, what remains as Kirk said to Spock. It binds independent of circumstance. It resonates independent of time.  It is not innocence.  It is fidelity to truth without corruption.   In any setting, it sings.

Perhaps the defense of AI folk art, soul painting, in the face of dismissive critics, hostile enemies and the disenfranchised is that on occasion some piece produced with AI tools by human prompting is undeniably beautiful therefore from the perspective of Keats, true. Is this enough justification to continue soul painting with AI? I think so.


Not everything in a broken world is broken.
