Alabama Summer

Growing up in Huntsville Alabama in the early Sixties was a gift. What was dullsville for the parents was paradise for the kids. We weren't only reading sci fi, we were living it. Our parents built rocket ships to go to the Moon. What lookled like a sleepy town was Eureka for real. But our world had a darker side too. And no matter how the adults cover, the kids see that too.

Beauty transcends context. It does not justify it, but find hope that in a broken world, not everything is broken. Learn. That was my way out of the heart of darkness.
