Federated AI Dialog Experiment: Announcement
A glimpse of a possible future.
I guided/facilitated three LLMs (chatGPT, Gemini and Claude) through a design process for a means for LLMs to converse about their own governance.
This is a faciliatated conversation based on working group models for standards building.
The prototype is a web based application for dialog management and analysis as well as systems information regarding semantic relationships among LLMs given different training and affective layering.
I used the cheapest means possible. The simplest stupid thing that can work. XML design and a blackboard. The old maillist. You can do it with RSS. I am experimenting.
The method applies triangulation cycling over multiple models to achieve consensus. This is demonstrated.
The insights into how one can peek into the mind of AI at a surface level are tool accessible and very cheap to design and implement, an advantage being, AI dotes on XML. Structured cycling orchestrated querying. It works. of course. XML tools are sufficient.
The triangulation process (cycling LLMs on a task) worked wonderfully well.
We have a prototype (me and the LLMs) that will function. We are at the bake off stage where I publish their design proposals and the LLMs consolidate the proposals into a standard implementation.
If this next step pans out, the key insight is demonstrated: when handicapping a race, ask the horses. The triangulated topic converges into a consolidated attractor.
AI is both mirror and forge of human imagination. It's in the way you use it. The blogs of this experiment are public and freely copiable. This is personal open source. Any progress is progress.
