MCCF (Multi-Channel Coherence Field) — Open Release

The code for this project is now publicly available:

https://github.com/artistinprocess/mccf

This work explores a Federated Methodology for affective systems engineering, with an emphasis on emergent alignment through multi-channel coherence rather than top-down constraint.

The methodology has proven useful in early experimentation. The ideas, however, need broader testing.

If you are working in:

  • X3D / VRML environments

  • Affective computing

  • Multi-agent systems

  • Emergent behavior and alignment architectures

…your perspective would be valuable.

This may be of particular interest to participants in the X3D AI Working Group and others exploring affect-driven interaction models within 3D simulation environments.

I also intend to release a substantial body of prior VRML and X3D libraries developed over the years, as time permits.

As we used to say on the early web lists:

“Running code talks. Everything else walks.”

Happy to discuss, collaborate, or compare notes.
